Pro Surfer Noah Cohen shares his perfect road trip
We recently asked Canadian Pro Surfer, Tofino-born, Noah Cohen to describe his perfect #VWadventure. Turns out, it’s a roadtrip right in his Vancouver Island backyard.
Now a resident of Victoria, Noah Cohen spends most of the year travelling the globe in search of the perfect wave. Yet, despite all the places he’s been, per Noah, there’s no place like home. When we gave him the keys to a 2017 Tiguan to take the ultimate aventure road trip, he chose to explore the area surrounding his home with his two childhood friends, Ryan Cameron and Shannon Brown.
Destination: Bamfield, BC
Located on the South Shore of Barkley Sound, the community of Bamfield offers rainforest, deserted beaches, uninhabited islands, rugged coastline and world-class driving. In short, it was the perfect setting for Noah, Ryan and Shannon’s surfing and camping excursion. According to Cohen, the location offered some “crazy driving terrain” but “the Tiguan ripped it”.
While we’re not surprised by the Tiguan’s ability to handle remote terrain, potholes and all, check out the video of Cohen’s #VWadventure for yourself.
